The Connection is a multi-generational ministry that provides food, fellowship, and fun for all people in our community. Each Wednesday night throughout the fall and winter we will be sharing a meal and participating in small groups where we learn skills and grow together in our connection with each other as we deepen our faith in Christ’s love for us.
Come join The Connection on Wednesday nights. Dinner is provided at 5:45pm and classes start at 6:30pm. Classes are available for all ages. As always, Nursery Childcare, The Connection Kids, and ROC Out Youth will be provided. New Fall adult classes begin on October 24th!
Line Dancing—The church not only believes in the health of one’s soul, it promotes the health of mind and body, too. Come out to learn new and exciting line dances! It's a great way to relieve stress, lower blood pressure, combat depression, delay Alzheimer’s, and have fun! Classes taught by Arlene Jones. Space is limited so register today!
Centering Prayer—Centering Prayer is rooted in the word of God, both through Scripture and in the person of Jesus Christ. Centering Prayer is based on the wisdom saying of Jesus in the “Sermon on the Mount” and we invite you to join us!
Half Truths—A study of the book by Adam Hamilton entitled “Half Truths”, exploring the truth behind some of the “Christian phrases” that we often use. We will search for the whole truth by comparing these common clichés to the word of God.
Knitters—We take time out from our busy day to unwind with our yarn. We share the fellowship and joy of our craft in making prayer shawls, lap robes, dish cloths, hats and scarfs for kids, etc. Learners are welcome
