Heart Havens Offering | Heart Havens is a non-profit organization empowering adults with developmental disabilities to live and thrive in their communities. On February 17, we are collecting a special offering in support of Heart Havens, If you would like to give to this worthwhile organization please indicate “Heart Havens” in the memo line of your check.
Wellness Workshop at The Connection | This workshop's focus is to give individuals tips and tools to eat healthy and be more physically active. Join us as Betty Robertson, BSN, RN, teaches us how we can use food to promote good health & reduce the risk of chronic diseases. The Workshop runs for 6 weeks, starting on Wednesday, March 6th. The Connection | Join us for The Connection on Wednesday nights. Dinner is served at 5:45pm and classes start at 6:30pm. Classes are available for all ages. Adult classes will include NETworX and Alpha Course. As always, Nursery/Childcare, The Connection Kids, and ROC Out Youth will be available. Strove Tuesday Pancake Supper | Join us for the annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on Tuesday, March 5 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm! Plates are $5/person, $15/family, children under 6 eat for free. Come out and support the ROC Out youth group!
Ash Wednesday Service | Ash Wednesday is the beginning of the season of Lent—a forty-day period of spiritual preparation for Easter. It’s sacred time for renewing and deepening our relationship with God. The Ash Wednesday service helps you think through your Lenten spiritual practices, and includes the imposition of ashes. Join us on Wednesday, March 6 at 5:00pm for this special service.
Spring Break Mission Trip Opportunity | Join us from April 13—18th as we travel to Beaufort NC. This area was hit hard by Hurricane Florence last fall and is beginning to transition from Early Response to Disaster Recovery and rebuilding homes that suffered damage. What a great chance to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a hurting world! This trip is being hosted by Bethlehem UMC and Redwood is joining in their efforts.
